Apparently there are some of these in Australia already, explains why it seemed like I'd seen it before.
They will build a Lithium battery version if the customer wants it.

I have seen a figure of up to 60% of a typical solar energy installation to be taken up with permitting costs, mechanical engineering fees (to assure your roof can take the weight), the cost of a new roof (you didn't really think the city would allow you to put panels up on that old roof of yours, did you?), warning labels for your grid-tie, meter bases, disconnect switches and the like.

Solar trailers and sheds deserve serious consideration to bring the cost of solar energy more in line with the actual equipment cost. Our city allows a shed of up to 100 sq ft to be installed residentially without a permit. Fitted with a couple kilowatts of solar on the roof, charge controller, batteries, inverters, a chest freezer and a deep water well pump controller, and you are well suited for a grid-down emergency without jumping through a lot of red tape. Keep your battery powered maintenance tools and electric bicycle charged up in it, and if you have enough of a power wall in it, yes, you can charge your Tesla.
