They would switch fast enough but there might be issues... There will be coming a 3rd video. An issue would be if it switches between sources not synced. Then you might get a spike to the load.

Note that the switching there is kind of the same as many inverters like the PIP do. The PIP though switch a bit faster i think. Might test that too if i got time Smile

These deep purple cells are nice looking.

Does batrium have digital outputs that can be programmed to energize relays or contactors based off different parameters? Cell voltages or schedules, etc?

Just thinking ahead if I can't find a US hybrid inverter to do some switching. (Which I hope I'll be able to)

So, umm, that hammer is there to persuade the shrink wrap to come off? Tongue

Nice batch!

Yes. Batrium does have output latches and you can do alot with that. With the expansion board you have a couple of relays on it.

Im on wrong computer to screenshoot how it looks.

I think i found my inverter! What do you guys think? other than the fact that its really expensive... Sounds like it has a great feature set

Hmm, interesting. What's the price point? You looking at the 4048 model?

Yeah 4048 looks like 4kw/48v system

looks like they are between 1500-1750

some cool features, and some nice accessories as well.

Mayson,
Take a look at this inverter.  It's the one I'm most likely going to use for my set up (just need to convince the wife).  12KW UL approved for 1900 usd.

I did come across that one in my search.  I think the marketing of the schneider is very good.. i am intrigued by their marketing terms..

Peak Load Shaving: Conext XW+ and SW can limit the power draw from the utility connection by adding power above a  set point to support large temporary loads, helping avoid peak usage charges in areas with tier-based tariff on capacity of incoming feed or on peak consumption.

Grid Boosting: Conext XW+ and SW can supplement grid input with extra AC power to support large loads, temporarily boosting power within a home beyond the limit of the grid connection.
  • Prioritize consumption of solar power ahead of utility power with PriorityPower

  • Avoid utility peak charges with ParallelPower

  • Temporarily increase power within the home with ParallelPower

  • Take advantage of the lower lifetime cost of Lithium Ion batteries with ChargePower technology

  • Sell power to the utility with GridSell (Conext XW+)

this piece looks fun too: https://solar.schneider-electric.com/pro...xt-combox/
even though i will have batrium and maybe even the grafana setup ive seen.

and their components are modular and snap together like lego peices.. how sexy is this:

Please take a moment to check those cells and take pictures if we don't have them in the database yet! I can't quite read the letters there but something tells me at least one of those is NOT in the database yet Smile
