Here's my first attempt. The sample pack had lots of colors to choose from. I decided to go with the red since its a Sanyo.

I think it looks pretty sharp with the new insulator.

Length is perfect!

I gotta get a proper heat gun so I can to a bunch of these! Smile

just bought some of your 4x5 cell holders (and left positive feedback) and got a few of these as freebies in the box. very nice... also excellent packaging. anyway, i thought i'd offer my $0.02 on the sleeves; the first problem is ebay is flooded with those things, so anyone specifically looking for them is just going to sort by price. if they're in a hurry they might select "U.S. only", but probably not. the second problem is who is your target market? the powerwall crowd? the e-bikers, the vapers? vapers usually buy new cells, e-bikers usually shrink wrap their entire pack, and us powerwall builders only use them to replace the sleeves that got totally destroyed - i think most of us (except Pete) like to show off the diversity of our cells, and the hard work that went into building our packs.

maybe pair them with rings; pick the best from china or have some made locally in various colors. maybe put a writing area on them like ziploc freezer bags. I think the trick is to have your product stand out from the rest. just my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes I'm working on getting them to be noticed first, mainly it comes down to price and sales. As of right now, I've only seen one other seller(China located) selling cheaper than me. One thing I have. Been planning on doing is to start selling smaller packs as well. The biggest issue is Shipping. Costs $2.61 eBay tracked even for the smallest package. So add in eBay and PayPal fees and you can only sell at a certain price before your paying people to buy your goods.

That's why I've offered higher quantities, because it makes more sense/cheaper per unit for everyone.

It's impossible to make the colored rings or shrink anywhere local in the states. Trust me, I've looked. It's incredibly expensive. I wish I could buy local, but it would just be me buying, because to turn any profit no one would buy at the retail cost.

Custom Printing shrink with a writing area is also too costly. Currently working on a custom print job for a vape store, and the costs are almost 5x to get an item to "stand out" from the rest. Again running into the issue of people wanting the cheapest priced units, they wouldn't sell.

Generally there isn't a target market for the heat shrink. Because of the diversity of the cell use, the targets I feel, will be based around quantity per package(which I'm working on shortly). A vape person isn't going to purchase 125pc, I get that, however I have had a bunch of vape businesses buy from me sooooo, it's just time and minor adjustments to make it even better.
