I don't know what changed. But since last night (or was it this morning?), I've been having troubles with pages loading. I have narrowed it down to some of the ads that show up.
This one is one that appears to be the trouble maker:

The one way I can get the page to respond fully like it's supposed to, is right click on the ad, select "Reload Frame" and when it starts to refresh, press Stop or Esc to stop the loading. Then the page is normal once again.

Weird, os & browser i'll check it here also

Worth me killing adds for a week?

I just turned on my ad blocker for the time being. At least it makes it so i can navigate a bit more smoothly for the time being.

I'll turn it back in later on, maybe in a few days to give Google enough time to pull it.

what's with the ads at the bottom that play audio, had one with some health ad about a smoker and the voice scared the crap out of me, my sound was turned up apparently.

That shouldn't happen at all with google adds? Try reporting the ad top left or top right. In the mean time run ADWCleaner over your computer to see if you don't have browser hijackers.

The ad toward the bottom of the page is blocking the EDIT button options for me. I was able to get around it by closing the ad, but the X in the corner of the ad is no longer there.

OK, by dragging out the window to an insane width, I can uncover the edit options.

When I finally was able to edit the post, I was informed that it was too long, over 65K characters. No way is it longer than 65K characters!

LOL, that's a new one. I haven't ran into those problems. But an interesting one, nonetheless. 65K characters. hrmm, are you sure? :p

I just had the "over 65k" notification, it was an image I uploaded that the forum software evidently misinterpreted as a text file. Once I got rid of the image the post was OK, I re uploaded the image and everything went OK.
