PV Panel Recommendation

Hi All,

I'm looking at using a PIP 2424 MSE solar charger and inverter, it states the PV voltage range should be30~80Vdc.

My shed roof only has space for 3 panels so i was planning to get 3 of these and group 2 in parallel and have the other on its own, so the 2 + 1 will be wired in series to get 60v.

the panels seem reasonably priced at 19% efficiency.

Does anyone see any issues with my planned setup? or have any other panel recommendations?

Much appreciated!

2 panels in parallel and those in series is not a good idea... shoud be all in parallel or all in series.
The one in series of the 2p will restrict the current.

You could buy 4 of them and put 2 in parallel and then 2 in series.

that was my original plan but i just dont have enough roof space... I can only fit 3 panels :(

if 2 +1 doesnt work then i guess I'll just have to get 2 and put them in series :/

UPDATE: Don't worry, i just figured out with a bit of overhang I could get 4x to fit :)

so it would be 2s2p :)
