I just pulled these 4 cells from a laptop battery which seem to say "QINA1D" and then a D further up on the battery. And takenrightout from the laptop battery they read respectively: "4,25 V" "4,26 V" "4,28 V" and "4,29 V". I have never come by this before and i have maybe opened close to 200 laptop packs..

Do any of you guys know these batteries or have seen them before. The battery i pulled them from is named: "AL12A32" and states that the battery is 14,8 Volts. Do you think they are high voltage models? or why do you think they read these high voltages.

I will include a couple of pictures so you can see what they look like.
thanks in advance.!

Kind regards

14.8v for 4 cells is 3.7v nominal, which is typical for a cell that's charged to 4.2v

Does it look like a genuine or aftermarket battery? Did it have a BMS board in it?

Maybe the high cell voltages are something to do with a crappy BMS?

Those look like the UR18650ZTAs, there was another thread asking about these recently. They're LiHV cells which can charge up to 4.35V. Seems to be popular on newer batteries, just pulled some Samsung LiHV batteries out of a Dell 9 cell battery today.
