This is a copy from my FB post. May as well put it here too.

Mini Powerwall!

Hi all, this is my mini Powerwall prototype using laptop batteries. Instead of having one huge powerwall powering the whole house, I have 4 separate powerwalls on each corner of the house. They are all 12V. Each room of the house has a 5m LED light strip for lighting. Each has their own solar panels and regulator. One Powerwall can run fridges, lights and fans, the others are mostly lights and 12V radio gear.

So far this corner is the only one that makes use of used laptop batteries. The others are AGM deep cycle. The battery here is a baby 6P3S with 18 cells. I would have made bigger but I ran out of batteries and it really doesn't need it anyway. This powerwall runs the living room lights (2 x 5m LED strips), front stair lights, garage lights, battery chargers and whatever else I want to plug into the power strips.

The charge controller is an Anself 3 cell lithium controller. There is a battery monitor on the balance leads for each of the parallel banks. There's probably more meters here than I really need, but I like lots of switches and dials.

I only use a single solar panel to charge this small setup.

Neat little setup, this is similar to what I'm building if I ever manage to find the time.

Thanks. Mine is a work in progress. Started out powered by lead acid but converted to 18650.

Great little setup!!!
