LifeP04 BMS recomendations
#1
My first post seems to have vanished.
I have an 8 cell battery pack made from CALB 60ah cells. Is there a bms something like what Peter is using that would work with a large cell?

Batrium will work. Heck most BMS systems will work as long as you skip ebay ones that are crap Smile

If you are going to run 24 volt I would look ar electrodacus, much cheaper than batrium and best after sales support

I'm kind of surprised that no one has any thing that will work for the CALB cells.

Electrodacus and Batrium as already mentioned.
I run batrium on my CALB cells.

Tell us what you are looking for. Are there budget restraints etc??

As said most will work. Batrium is one and many of us have that with LiFe cells and that is working just fine.

So what are you really looking for? Blockmon for example the calb generally works depending on the type

Something to keep in mind with batrium for 60 ah CALB cells is the blockmons won't fit between terminals so will need to hang out side of the cell if that makes sense. You may be better with longmons and attach to side of the cell.
