Im harvesting batteries and intend on building a 80p 14s scalable system (maybe 100p or 120p depending on how many cells I end up with). Stillin the early time consuming phase of charging and eliminating cells, butstarting to think about my first hardware purchase. Im researching a48v US inverter, a solar charger , some panels and the Batrium BMS.

Its really hard to fight the temptation of starting a pack without all my batteries tested for a string, but Im listening to the veterans and will hold off on any assembly before Im able to complete all 14 packs.

Ive got a lot of inspiration and informationfrom members videos and am trying to absorb the ton of information contained in the forums.

Started harvesting on September 11th 2017 and everything pictured in the 4x5 holders has been charged, there's about 400 cells waiting to be charged and a pile of laptop batteries waiting to be cracked open. Im hoping that Ill have the charging and capacities completed by January. I have 4 Opus's and thinking about getting two more to speed up the process.

Nice Start!. take lots of time to plan. I didn't plan ahead so have changed the designs of my packs about 3 times. too much soldering lol. There is lots of info here and any questions just ask.

Quite a sizeable project you are starting with, not bad! I understand the urge to buy some hardware but you should really think that through in advance. You want to know your loads, planned runtime, solar capacity and so on. And obviously you need 1120 good cells :)
