Glubux's Powerwall
Thanks to your post on FB I read your complete build.

Nice to see a project grow, but it seems you had the base planned out real good, since there are no real changes in 'how' you make your batterypacks.

I really like the fact that it is easy to change out a cell when it is faulty.

What I do miss here is there is no mention of consideration of internal resistance of each cell. Do you think this is overrated in a good (consistent) powerwall?

Inspiration to us all (or at least me).
I'm in the process of building 14 packs of 80 cells for my future Powerwall.
In the meantime, I make some videos about the build and the devices I use.

Thanks!

I like my design even I reckon it's one of the slowest when it comes to assemble a pack!

I didn't checked the resistance of a single cell, maybe I would have discarded a few cell per packs if I did, however I don't think this is really important, considering the amount of cells, the variations are probably negligeble.

It's still so clean, 28khw is pretty huge. How much panels capacity do you have ?
Current setup: 21x 215wc poly, 7.5kWh 7s 18650, PIP 2424msxe.

I have 3000 watts of solar for now.

I might have missed it but what did you use for fuse wire? Looks awesome and clean

Thanks! I use .25 mm diameter copper wire.

New inverter, 8KVA, now I run the entire house  Cool

What is the specs of your solar panel? are you using solar charge controller specs pls. Are you using a battery charge balancer How about you Inverter Smile

My solar panels are 250w each, monocristalinne Bosch cells.
I use the Victron MPPT solar controller to charge at 56V (4v per cell max).
I have balancers but I connect them only when needed (which is almost never)
The inverter is a beast, really powerfull, 40kg, 7000w, 16 000w peak, I'm really happy with it.
