Pretty Impressive :D

Sure is! :)

I wish I had the technical and engineering and building skills to make stuff like this ;)

I'm still having issues with the just the TP4056's charging build :p

I wish I had engineering skills as well. I didn't even know you could bend plexiglass like that.

LOL Then how did you think it was bent?? :p

Plexiglass is cool stuff. You can do alot with them. And get pretty decent result. Even gluing and then polish it up again :) I have not done much with it but always wanted to try. And next time i will do it better :)

No problem so far. But i have only done like 2 batches after the build.

I had them this tight on the bench before this so i see no issues with it in my current setup.

If I create another one or if you pick it down to paint it will though but the back row 2-3cms further back. There is space for it since i changed that wire design in last minute to one that didnt need as much space.

hahah yeah, I thought that too before. But I've seen it worked with a heat gun several times and it looks, 'looks', easy to do. I haven't done any work like that yet so far.

It was pretty easy to do :)

What i did learn and i did know in before hand but didnt care so much about....
* Make sure the plexi is clean
* Make sure the material you bend it against is clean
* Make sure that if you want sharp bend that the edge is a bit rounded because the plexi will take that shape
* Make sure that the piece you press with is clean and have plan surface
* Do not overheat. If it bubles you heated to much and it looks bad afterwards

Other than that its just to try it. I will use this more. I want to try to glue it too :)

You can get proper machines to heat the plastic ready to bend. They heat a thin strip rather than the entire area.
Here is an example of what one looks like.

It's not rocket science either, simply consists of an aluminium box with a slot in the top and a heating element inside.

You dont even have to do it that complicated :)

2 wood pieces with hinge in middle. lets say 1-2cm gap between the hinges and then you have some heating thread in there heating it. And then you just bend it with the hinges.

Like this but with a hinge in the middle.
