Good evening all,
Yet another question. Currently I have 18 solar panels yielding 3.6kW peak, feeding into a grid tied inverter. Meaning that in summertime a big amount of power is being fed back in the grid, making my meter wheel turning back.
From september till november we use this excess electricity to heat the house electricaly, as for in Belgium, I don't get paid for the excess electricity I feed back in the grid. So not using it would be a crime isn't it.
But here comes the catch.
One day I would like to go off grid with my electricity. At the moment I have an excess of about 600kWh of electricity I feed back in the grid in summer time.
But with a powerwall in summer, there's no way to store that excess electricity? Does this mean I have to go start searching to ramp up my electricity usage, like for instance warm water, no being made with gas, switch it to electricity?
Looking forward to the community's opinion
