Bad Opus Charger Slots

I've seen quite a few posts between here and Facebook of people complaining that their Opus chargers stop working. I was always happy that I never had issues with mine. I bought 6 more and am running 7 chargers now. I've only been using them a few months and now 2 of the 7 chargers have a bad slot. The bad slot seems to charge but the discharge cycle doesn't work and just reports 0mAh.

Has anyone found the cause for this? Is there any way to fix it or are these slots simply junk now?

I don't know how they look on the inside, so just a guess here. Maybe whatever it uses as a load has failed. And if this is the case it can probably be replaced.

I guess one thing can be the slider/holder for the cell?

That's not the case, I already had those issues and fixed them. The electronics don't look damaged physically, but I don't know enough about how the electronics work to start testing parts.
