24v@ 8kWh powerwall

Hi I am Roy. I want to build a power wall that produces 8kWh @ 24v. How do I calculate the number of 18650 cells @ 2000mAh, 3.7v nominal, 4.2v fully changed? Then Ill need to figure out how to put them into packs.

8kWh doesnt matter if its at 24V or 48V. Same amount of cells.

Total energy is calculated at nominal voltage. That is:
8000Wh/ (3.7V*2Ah) = 1081 cells

And if you run 7s = 1081/7 = 154

so its 7s154p as minimum with 2Ah cells to get 8kWh
